Alison originally trained at Grant Thornton where she initially worked with Tricia and has been with the practice for over 20 years.

A member of the accounts team, Alison is the Compliance and Technical Manager for the practice. She deals with the more complex issues associated with the Companies Act and also Financial Reporting Standards.

At home she runs a mixed farm with her husband which includes breeding pedigree Simmental cattle. Her involvement in business started at an early age as her parents were farmers and also built a successful agricultural engineering business which was subsequently sold.

Alison's real-life farming experience is invaluable, helping us to understand the issues and problems facing our farming clients.
