John has a dim and distant past in the electronics industry and banking but in his mid-twenties was distracted from a potential move into teaching by the lure of foreign travel with a locally based international importation and distribution company.

Having worked through various departments he eventually moved from Sales Office management to Computer Operations manager and eventually took over responsibility for the computer department when the DPM moved to pastures new.

It was during his several years in that role that he met Tricia who was the senior in the audit team who visited the company.

Now, he spends 16 hours a week working for Tricia on various computer related activities but also has another life which includes assisting with two youth folk band workshops and playing in ceilidh bands.
