2020 Small Business Awards

On the evening of 4th December we recieved the following message from our local MP, Guy Opperman:

Good evening,

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday, an annual event to mark the huge contribution small businesses make to the local economy, and to encourage people to buy local - especially in the run-up to Christmas.

Throughout November, I’ve been asking local residents across Tynedale and Ponteland to nominate their favourite small local businesses as part of my 2020 Small Business Awards. I am writing to let you know that you have been ‘Highly Commended’ by many local residents. Congratulations!
I know how difficult this past year has been for you and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done.
I have attached a graphic which you may wish to use on social media, and a certificate to commend your achievement will be sent out shortly.
I would be delighted to visit – hopefully in more normal times – next year to congratulate you in person. Until then, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if I can be of assistance in any way.
